Installation, Debugging, and Precautions for the Intelligent Tracking Multi-Function Electric Compactor

Today, the editor will share with you the installation, commissioning, and important precautions for the intelligent tracking multi-functional electric compactor.
  1. After unpacking, loosen the bolts securing the base, clean all parts of the instrument thoroughly, and place the instrument onto the foundation. Align it using the base bolts, taking the workbench surface as the reference point. Use a spirit level to ensure that the workbench surface is level in both horizontal and vertical directions to within 0.3%. Then, tighten the foundation bolts to securely fasten the instrument.
  2. Debugging: Before connecting the power supply, first check the power cable (three-phase four-wire). The neutral wire must be connected, and then verify all parts of the instrument’s power switch and counter. Pay attention to the correct rotation direction; reversing the rotation is strictly prohibited.
  3. Install the compaction hammer:
The compaction hammer comes in two types: heavy-duty and light-duty. When performing light-duty compaction, insert the small hammer core into the hammer cylinder and tighten it securely. For heavy-duty compaction, insert the large hammer core into the hammer cylinder and tighten it firmly, while also verifying that the drop height is correct. This machine is a multi-purpose instrument capable of conducting two types of tests with different drop heights and different hammer weights. The machine is equipped with two sets of curved guide rings for adjusting the drop height; the specific specifications are clearly stamped with serial numbers on the front panel. Please note that when selecting the heavy-duty test mode, use the 40-tooth and 24-tooth gear combinations accordingly.
During the light-duty test, remove the 24-tooth gear and leave only the 40-tooth gear to ensure proper operation. Before deciding on the appropriate drop height, you must first remove the housing, then install or remove the arc-shaped gear ring on the large cam. After setting the desired drop height, use a screwdriver to tighten the screws securely—there should be no looseness whatsoever. Next, reattach the housing and tighten the screws. Then, set the counter to the required number of cycles and activate the compaction-cycle timer. The counter operates once per day; to reset it, gently press the zero-reset switch (R) to bring the count back to zero.
  4. The distance from the workbench center can be adjusted:
Depending on the inner diameter of the test mold being used, first loosen the lock nut of the M16 bolt located at the front of the workbench. Then, place the hammer into the test mold, and adjust the M16 bolt until the outer diameter of the hammer is at the appropriate distance from the inner diameter of the test mold. Next, tighten the M16 nut securely. Before starting the machine, manually lift the rack slightly to confirm that the edge of the test mold is not being impacted by the hammer; only after verifying this condition can you start operating the machine.
  5. The two sets of mold specimens have different specifications; therefore, each set is equipped with components such as hammers and bolts. Be sure not to mix them up when using them.
  6. Lubricate the rotating parts once every six months. If the equipment is used frequently, adjust the lubrication interval accordingly and lubricate more often as needed.
  7. Regularly inspect fasteners; if any are found loose, tighten them promptly. After each test is completed, all used components should be cleaned, oiled, and protected against corrosion to prevent rusting.
  8. The instruction manual and the factory qualification certificate are randomly included in the packaging.
