    Overview

Currently, there are two main symmetric approaches commonly used in this field. The first approach addresses the issue of automatic needle alignment by means of an image-processing unit. The second approach achieves automatic needle alignment through indirect contact. With regard to the first approach, it has extremely high requirements for water quality and on-site environmental conditions, and it must also take into account the refractive index of aqueous solutions, resulting in relatively large measurement errors. As for the second approach, theoretically, the asphalt surface needs to be perfectly level to meet the measurement requirements. However, in practice, the asphalt surface is curved—lower in the middle and higher around the edges—and the influence of the connecting rod on the asphalt surface has not been taken into account, leading to significant measurement errors.

DFZR-A The automatic needle penetration tester employs advanced electromagnetic induction technology to achieve automatic needle alignment without disrupting the surface tension of the asphalt. The entire system features high stability, excellent accuracy, and rapid response speed, and can fully automate the entire process of needle and puncture testing. This not only boosts efficiency but also eliminates errors and interference caused by manual needle handling.

The instrument features automatic... To needle and artificial To needle The function is optional. When you select the automatic needle alignment function, simply insert the needle into the needle hole and click “Test.” The program will automatically detect the needle’s status, perform automatic needle alignment, and display real-time needle information on both the touchscreen and computer interface. Once needle alignment is complete, the needle will automatically enter the test chamber; after the test is finished, the needle will automatically retract, and the test results will be recorded. If you choose manual needle alignment, the operation procedure is identical to that of a standard needle penetration test.

The instrument features an integrated low-temperature water bath, eliminating the need for an external low-temperature water bath. Its special design ensures that the test results are unaffected by ambient temperature. It boasts fast cooling speed, high temperature stability, and precise temperature control, making it capable of handling various types of asphalt under different temperature conditions. Penetration. Test.

The test duration and test temperature are set via the keyboard. Upon completion of the test, the results are automatically saved. When the penetration index testing function is selected, the system automatically calculates various parameters—including the penetration index, equivalent softening point, equivalent brittle point, and plastic temperature range—after the test is finished.

The instrument can be operated independently for testing or integrated with a computer to form a needle penetration test system. All test operations can be performed via the computer software interface, and the test results are automatically saved to a database. Connecting to the terminal data platform enables real-time data uploading.

Difference between automatic needle alignment and manual needle alignment

    Probe needle

    Locking screw

    Automatic needle alignment method

Use only dedicated needles for testing; ordinary needles cannot be used.

Loosen it, and the needle can move freely up and down.

    Artificial needle-piercing method

Both standard probes and specialized probes can be used.

Tighten the screw to secure the probe.

    Technical indicators

LCD touch-screen operation, featuring advanced electromagnetic induction technology.

    Temperature range 2.00℃-50.00℃.

Temperature control accuracy: ±0.02℃. (No external low-temperature water bath required—this unit comes with its own built-in low-temperature water bath.)

    Penetration range: 0-600.0 penetration test

Needle and needle bar quality: 50.00g ± 0.05g

    Stainless steel weights: 50.00g ± 0.05g

    Standard needle: 2.5g ± 0.05g stainless steel

Standard needle specifically for acupuncture: 2.5g ± 0.05g stainless steel

The instrument can save data: >1000 The results of the experiment can be viewed and printed at any time.

When the needle penetration index test function is selected, after the test is completed, various parameters such as the needle penetration index, equivalent softening point, equivalent brittle point, and plastic temperature range are automatically calculated.
