What are the features of a stability meter? How should related faults be handled?

The stability tester comprises a main unit, a force-measuring instrument, a flow-value tester, and a printing device. It is used to measure stability and flow values and features stable operational performance.

Features of the Stability Tester:

After prolonged use, stability meters are bound to encounter problems. If issues arise, you can contact the manufacturer for repair. However, if these are minor problems, it can waste a lot of time and disrupt the manufacturer’s workflow during repairs. In fact, many of these simple faults can be easily fixed by yourself.

　　1. The control system does not display, and the entire machine is not powered on:

　　(1) Make sure the power outlet is energized.

　　(2) Ensure that the power switch of the control system is turned on.

　　(3) Ensure that the general insurance for the control system is valid.

　　2. Current value is too large:

　　(1) Ensure that the temperature of the constant-temperature water bath is 60.5°C.

　　(2) Ensure that the sample reaches this temperature within 30 minutes after curing.

　　(3) Ensure that the specimen is pressed within the specified time.

　　(4) Ensure that the flow sensor is within its operating range.

　　(5) Ensure that the specimen specifications meet the requirements.

　　3. The control system of the stability tester displays the main unit’s ability to move up and down, thereby showing the pressure applied to the specimen. There is no data displayed in the window:

　　(1) Make sure the sensor plug is properly connected.

　　(2) Press and hold the test button to turn on the power switch, and check whether the pressure and flow value windows display valid readings.

　　4. The display control system is functioning, but the host is not working:

　　(1) Ensure that the cable connected to the host is properly connected.

　　(2) Ensure that the insurance in the country of residence is complete and valid.

　　(3) Ensure that the main motor connection cables are intact and undamaged.

　　5. After the test, if the pressure is too high, the flow rate is too low, or if the pressure is too low, the flow rate is too high:

　　(1) Ensure the water bath temperature is 60 ± 0.5°C.

　　(2) Ensure that the specimen is cured at this temperature for 30 minutes.

　　(3) Ensure that the specimen is pressed within the specified time.

　　6. The stability meter printer is not working:

　　(1) Make sure the printer’s power plug is securely connected and the power switch is turned on.

　　(2) Make sure the printer signal cable is properly connected.

　　(3) Check whether the printer is online.

(4) Check whether the printing paper is installed.
