Precautions for the Asphalt Mixture Compaction Tester
1. The counter counts in a forward-counting manner.
2. The next time you strike, first press the reset button and then press the start button.
3. When compaction is in progress and you need to stop the machine or if the machine malfunctions, you can press the stop button to halt the compactor’s operation.
4. The chain tension should be checked regularly, and if its sag exceeds 10 mm, it should be adjusted.
5. Do not start the compaction machine when it is not loaded with mixtures. When not in use, place cotton yarn or shredded paper inside the test mold.
Instructions for Using the Asphalt Mixture Compactor:
1. First, connect the three plugs at the back of the cabinet properly. The “motor” should be connected to the motor input port on the cabinet, the “non-contact proximity switch” should be connected to the counting port, and the “power supply” should be connected to the power supply port. At the same time, make sure the neutral wire is properly connected.
2. After completing the above steps, rotate the “Preset” dial to set the desired number of compaction cycles, ranging from 1 to 99. When you turn on the power switch, the digital display on the panel will show “00,” and the power indicator light will illuminate.
3. Press the start button to activate the controller; the status light will illuminate, and the digital display will show “00.” The motor will begin rotating, raising the hammer to compact the material. Each time the hammer strikes, the digital display will increment by one. Once the preset number of strikes is reached, the motor will stop, and the indicator light will turn off.
4. Press the Pause button to stop the operation; the status indicator will turn off. Press the Start button again to resume normal operation. If any abnormal condition occurs during operation, press the Pause button. At this time, the digital display will show the number of times the button has been pressed. After completing one experiment, first press the Reset button, then press the Start button.
