This rotary compactor model can compact asphalt specimens to a specified height or for a predetermined number of rotations. During each rotation, the angle is precisely recorded to ensure accuracy. Application of Cast-in-Place Asphalt Mixtures
Pour-in-place asphalt mixtures are particularly well-suited for paving steel bridge decks. The Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge in China and the Tsing Ma Bridge in Hong Kong were among the first bridges to adopt this type of pavement. Subsequently, it was also used for the steel bridge deck pavement of the Shandong Shengli Yellow River Bridge. Further applications include the Ziya River Bridge in Tianjin, the Donghai Bridge, the Changping Bridge in Foshan, the Sanzhi Fan Bridge in Changsha, the Caiyuanba Bridge in Chongqing, and the Anqing Bridge. In addition, pour-in-place asphalt concrete offers the possibility of ultra-thin pavements and serves as an effective intermediate layer to prevent reflective cracking, demonstrating excellent stress-absorbing capabilities.
