What are the product features of the rotary compaction instrument angle calibrator?

The design of the rotary compactor angle calibrator incorporates numerous features to ensure operator safety and minimize manual intervention when handling hot test molds filled with asphalt mixtures. The test molds can be slid directly from the workbench into the compaction chamber and then, after compaction, slid into the dynamic sample separator—all without any lifting operations required. The compaction chamber is fully enclosed, and its inspection door is fitted with safety glass, allowing operators to observe the compaction process through the safety glass. The door automatically opens and closes and is equipped with an interlock mechanism that prevents it from being activated while closed. An emergency stop button is also provided.
The four-column frame of the rotary compactor angle calibrator is highly stable and robust. The vertical stress is measured by a load cell and precisely controlled throughout the compaction process. The rotational motion is also servo-controlled, ensuring that the rotation angle is accurately maintained during compaction—regardless of the applied load. Compared with other similar products, this rotary compactor angle calibrator stands out for its ability to measure shear stress during the compaction process.
Since this machine uses servo control operation, vertical stress, rotation angle, and speed can be quickly adjusted via a handheld console or PC.
The rotary compactor angle calibrator is a fully automatic, servo-controlled device used specifically for calibrating the angle of rotary compaction machines when compacting asphalt mixtures. All compaction parameters can be adjusted via buttons, making the servopac highly popular among researchers worldwide.
Product features of the rotary compaction tester angle calibrator:
1. Operation is safe and convenient. Pneumatic extraction of asphalt samples makes testing easier. The four-column load-bearing frame design ensures excellent stability.
2. Servo control enables more precise loading and angle adjustment;
3. The rotation angle can be adjusted arbitrarily within the range of 0 to 3°.
4. Use the buttons to adjust the vertical stress, rotation angle, and speed;
5. During compaction, shear stress can be measured;
6. The real-time image displays the sample’s height and density, vertical shear stress or rotation angle, as well as the number of rotation cycles.
Protection and storage:
1. With the exception of liquid asphalt and emulsified asphalt, all asphalt samples requiring heating shall be stored in sealed metal containers with lids. It is strictly prohibited to store these samples in paper or plastic bags. Samples should be kept in a cool, clean location, and care must be taken to prevent contamination. After the lids of the sample containers have been securely sealed and thoroughly wiped clean, the following identification markings should be affixed to the sample containers themselves (not on the lids): the J-port source of the sample, the variety, the date and location of sampling, the sampler’s identity, and the identification mark for the product series.
2. Emulsified asphalt samples should be provided with appropriate antifreeze measures during winter.
3. With the exception of a portion of the samples used for testing, the remaining samples should be properly stored for future reference.
4. When the sample needs to be heated, collect a sufficient amount of sample for each batch of testing and transfer it into a separate sample container. The remaining samples should be sealed and stored properly, and repeated heating and sampling should be minimized as much as possible. Samples used for quality arbitration inspections must not be reused more than twice.
