The asphalt mixture compaction apparatus is suitable for preparing cylindrical specimens of asphalt mixture with diameters of 150 mm or 100 mm using the rotary compaction method, for use in laboratory tests on the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mixtures. The molded specimens are used in tests such as compressive strength, shear strength, splitting, and rebound.
The device consists of a hydraulic pressurization system, a rotating base, a demolding system, a data acquisition system, a data display system, and control systems for deformation, angle, and other parameters.
Connecting to a computer allows for analysis and calculation of experimental data, data storage, and graphical display.
