  Technical Instructions for the Pouring-Type Asphalt Concrete Flowability Tester;
  Currently in China, the flowability of cast-in-place asphalt mixtures is evaluated using the Laval flow test, which serves as an indicator of their workability and ease of construction. However, the Laval testing apparatus currently in use features a relatively simple structural design. The test is conducted entirely at room temperature, and both the height to which the flow hammer descends and the time required for this descent are determined manually. As a result, the flow test is significantly influenced by external temperature variations, making it impossible to accurately measure the flowability of the mixture under specific high-temperature conditions. Moreover, the accuracy of the test results is heavily affected by subjective human factors. These limitations mean that the current Laval flow test method cannot precisely quantify the flowability of cast-in-place asphalt concrete under particular temperature conditions, nor can it effectively investigate the relationship between the flowability of mixtures with specific asphalt-to-aggregate ratios and temperature changes.
  Therefore, the market urgently needs a measuring device that can accurately determine the flowability of cast-in-place asphalt mixtures under specific temperature conditions, thereby enabling precise evaluation of their workability and ease of construction. The Asphalt Concrete Lauer Flowability Tester, developed and manufactured by Shanghai Le'ao Testing Instrument Co., Ltd., is designed to assess the workability of cast-in-place asphalt mixtures. It is a specialized instrument for measuring the Lauer flowability of such mixtures, suitable for both laboratory and field applications in mix design and quality control. This tester complies with the relevant provisions of the "Technical Guidelines for Design and Construction of Bridge Deck Pavements on Steel Box Girder Bridges," and consists primarily of a flowability test container, a drop hammer, a thermometer, and a supporting frame.

  Instrument composition:
  1. Liquidity test container
  2. Drop hammer: made of copper
  3. Thermometer; measurement range: 300℃
  4. Support: Secure the falling hammer

  Technical specifications:
  Drop hammer weight: 995g
  Drop hammer diameter: 270mm
  Drop hammer arc: 58

  Main features:
  1. Novel design, easy to install
  2. Beautiful appearance, easy to carry.
  3. Reasonable structure, simple operation
