Technical Parameters of the Asphalt Mixture Rotary Compactor

2020-12-26

This device is suitable for molding cylindrical specimens of asphalt mixtures with diameters of 150 mm or 100 mm using the rotary compaction method, intended for laboratory testing of the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mixtures. The molded specimens are used in tests such as compressive strength under confined deformation, shear strength, splitting tensile strength, and rebound resilience.
The device consists of a hydraulic pressurization system, a rotating base, a demolding system, data acquisition, data display, and control systems for deformation and angle measurement.
Connecting to a computer allows for analysis and calculation of experimental data, data storage, and graphical visualization.

Features: The hydraulic system ensures stable specimen formation without any loosening or scattering. The built-in demolding system integrates molding and demolding, making the process convenient and quick.
  Technical Parameters
  1. Voltage: 380V (three-phase, four-wire)
  2. Effective dimensions of the test cylinder: Φ150×200mm; Φ100×160mm
  3. Hydraulic cylinder’s direct pressure on the specimen: The factory setting is 600 kPa ± 10 kPa (for Φ150 specimens) (for Φ100 specimens, adjust according to the instructions).
  4. The hydraulic pump station’s rated pressure is 25 MPa.
  5. Compacted rotation viewpoint: Adjusted at the factory from 0° to 3° to 1.16° ± 0.02°.
  6. Number of rotations: 0–999 (adjustable)
  7. Compaction speed: 30 r/min ± 0.5 r/min
  8. Main unit external dimensions: 900*600*2250mm
  9. Overall dimensions of the hydraulic system: 500*500*900mm
